In Quebec, the Class 4 licence is divided into three different subclasses. A Class 4A licence allows you to drive emergency vehicles, and a Class 4B lets you drive small buses with a seating capacity of 24 or fewer passengers. To become a taxi driver, you’ll need a Class 4C licence, which allows you to drive taxis.

To obtain a Class 4 licence in Quebec, you must pass a knowledge exam and meet several other requirements. All 30 questions are based on the official Quebec commercial driver’s handbook, the main study resource for aspiring commercial drivers. A score of 80% or higher is required to pass, and you must answer all questions before the timer runs out. Students struggling with test anxiety are more likely to make mistakes. However, you can significantly increase your chances of obtaining a passing score by beginning your learning phase several weeks in advance.

During this time, you should use the most efficient tools available. Our Quebec Class 4 Licence practice test has been designed to closely reflect the content and format of the official written knowledge test. When you regularly train with this tool, you’ll know what to expect at the SAAQ office on exam day. You get unlimited attempts and nonstop access to this intuitive tool so that you can increase your knowledge through repetition. For your convenience, we have omitted any timer from this practice test. Please take your time and avoid rushing through the questions.

If you make a mistake, we will point it out as soon as it occurs. A detailed explanation of the correct answer will help you understand why your choice was wrong. You should note this feedback in a notebook or notebook app and revisit the material during future practice sessions. Obtaining a Class 4 licence may be difficult for a beginner unfamiliar with commercial vehicles, but we’ll make it easier for you to understand this subject. Our helpful automated assistant can provide personalized answers to your individual questions, making it a great addition to your study sessions. Additionally, you can request hints whenever you get stuck on a difficult question.
