Our Nunavut Driving Practice Test is designed to help you ace the Nunavut Class 7 Knowledge Test. There are several conditions that must be met to obtain a Class 7 learner’s licence in Nunavut. You must be at least 15, present valid government-issued identification, pass a vision screening, pass the knowledge test, and, if under 18, provide written parental or guardian consent. If you fail the exam, you must pay a retest fee. Our practice tests will give you everything you need to pass the exam on your first attempt.
The Knowledge Test covers a vast amount of information and is made up of two sections, each with 20 multiple-choice questions. These sections include questions on licensing requirements, vehicle registration and insurance rules, testing regulations, traffic control measures, and right-of-way laws. Equipment and safety belt usage rules and the penalties for violating these and other rules may also be covered. You’ll need to understand vehicle registration requirements, the plate-to-owner system, mandatory liability insurance needs and more. Traffic regulations, including speed limits, sign compliance, traffic signals, pavement markings and right-of-way rules, must be understood as well. It’s a lot of material, but don’t worry. Our practice tests are designed to get right to what matters most and ensure you’ll pass on your first attempt.
You’ll also need to understand the Graduated Driver License (GDL) system, including its rules and holding requirements. For example, once you receive a Class 7 Learner’s Licence, you may drive while supervised by a fully licensed driver (but no driving from midnight to 5 a.m.). These requirements apply to all new drivers, regardless of age.
You must take the exam at a Nunavut Motor Vehicles Office and correctly answer at least 16 out of 20 questions (80%) on each section to pass. Examiners may offer an oral version of the knowledge test if needed, and an interpreter can be used with examiner approval.
Our Nunavut Driving Practice Test is based on the most recent version of the Driver’s Manual and contains 20 multiple-choice questions. Real-time explanations for all responses are provided, a feature proven to boost retention and help ensure you pass the official knowledge test.
