Are you ready to take the necessary steps to pass the Northwest Territories Class 7 Knowledge Exam? Our Free Northwest Territories Learner’s Practice Test mimics the official exam, providing a preview of what you’ll face in the official test setting. We use scientifically proven methods to increase retention and speed you through the learning process. Our practice questions provide real-time feedback that helps you learn from errors and pass the real test on your first try.
To qualify for your Northwest Territories Class 7 Learner’s Licence, you must be at least 15 years old, present a valid ID, pass a vision screening, submit the Northwest Territories Drivers Medical Examination Report, and pass the written knowledge exam. According to the Northwest Territories Driver and Vehicles government website, you must pass two parts: 20 multiple-choice questions on road rules and 20 multiple-choice questions on road signs. You are given 30 minutes to complete the exam, which is based on the official Northwest Territories Driver’s Guide. Testing takes place at a Driver and Vehicle office.
The knowledge exam includes questions about traffic signs and signals, right-of-way procedures, safe driving practices, vehicle operation, and parking. It also covers the Northwest Territories’ Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) Program and penalties for driving infractions. If you do not pass the knowledge test, you’ll need to retake it and pay the fee again.
Once you obtain your Class 7 Learner’s Licence, you must hold it for at least 12 months and have a fully licensed driver with at least 24 months of experience with you whenever you drive. You are not permitted to drive between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and you and your supervising driver must maintain a zero blood alcohol concentration (BAC) when driving. Your only allowed passenger is your supervising driver. If you accumulate more than 6 demerit points for driving violations, your learner’s licence can be suspended. Once you complete the learner’s stage, you may apply for the Class 5P probationary licence. This credential requires a one-year holding period, after which you can apply for the full Class 5 licence.
Our five practice tests (some free, others with additional features for premium members) combine effectively to prepare you for the knowledge exam. Be sure to take all our Northwest Territories Knowledge Exam Practice Tests to be fully prepared!
