A commercial driving career in New Brunswick starts with studying the core principles of commercial vehicle operation. You must learn about mandatory pre-trip inspections, safe driving practices, and air brake systems. Unlike most other provinces, New Brunswick does not publish a commercial driving handbook that discusses all these concepts, but it does publish the official Air Brake Manual on air brake systems, which you should read at least once. The most determined students use other efficient tools during their learning phase, which makes studying commercial driving theory much easier.

Our New Brunswick General Knowledge Practice Tests can be a game changer for those struggling with test anxiety. Each of these practice tests is designed to reflect the content and format of the official exam by providing 25 multiple-choice questions. Since we have omitted any timer from this practice test, you can answer them at your own pace. Please avoid rushing and read every question carefully.

We provide immediate feedback for each question you get wrong. Pay attention to the detailed explanation and note it down in a notebook or notebook app. Our automated assistant can also provide further explanations that help you understand the reasoning behind each correct answer. Achieving a passing score on the official exam should not be your only goal. Becoming a safe and responsible commercial driver takes time and effort, so you shouldn’t expect overnight results.

Mistakes are common among beginners, so you should ignore them during the initial stages of your learning phase. However, if you wish to get a fresh start and begin a new session, you can use the “Restart test” button in the top-right corner of the page.

Since this practice test is available 24/7, you can begin a training session whenever you get a few minutes of free time. All you need is a compatible device and a stable internet connection. Nobody was born an expert commercial driver, as this skill can only be developed gradually. During your learning phase, you should practise daily, review your mistakes, and build confidence with each training session.
