Get ready to pass the Alberta Class 7 Knowledge Exam on your first try with our Free 2025 Alberta Learner’s Practice Test. Our practice tests are expertly designed to mirror the official exam format. They employ scientifically proven study techniques to boost your confidence by improving retention and speeding up the learning process. Including in-depth explanations and instant feedback on each response, our practice tests help ensure you pass the official exam on your first attempt.

To pass the official Alberta Knowledge Exam, you must answer 25 out of 30 questions correctly (83%). The multiple-choice test is a mandatory part of obtaining your learner’s licence. It is based on the latest Alberta Driver’s Guide. It is available in 25 languages and must be taken at an authorized registry agent office.

The learner’s licence can be issued to individuals as young as 14 years of age and requires valid government-issued identification. If you’re under 18, you’ll also need written parental or guardian consent. Failing the exam results in a minimum one-day waiting period to retake it and paying a retest fee, but our practice tests help reduce that risk significantly.

The Knowledge Exam includes questions on traffic control, intersections, road markings, emergency procedures, and responsible driving. It also covers penalties for offences like failing to stop for a school bus and speeding in school or construction zones. Our practice tests help prepare you for these topics as well as cover the repercussions of accumulating too many violations.

You must also understand Alberta’s Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program for new drivers. Once you earn your Class 7 Learner’s Licence, you may drive while accompanied by a fully licensed driver at least 18 years of age, but only between 5 a.m. and midnight. The GDL program and its licence-holding periods must be followed by all new drivers, including adults.

Our Free Alberta Learner’s Practice Test 2025 contains 20 multiple-choice questions. More than just a study guide, our interactive practice tests provide immediate explanations for each response, which help you pass the official knowledge test on your first attempt.

Our five available practice tests (some free, others with additional features for premium members) sharpen your preparation for the knowledge exam. Be sure to check out all our Alberta Knowledge Exam Practice Tests, including our Premium offerings, to be fully prepared!
